Maine Jet Rally & Model Expo 2013 - Sanford, Maine Sept 5-9, 2013

Fellow pilots,

Last year we held the first Horizon Hobby US Air Meet (http://www.usairmeet.com/) in Sanford, Maine. It was a really good time. Heck, I even got to crash my 700E in front of about 100 grade school children yelling "lower, lowerrrr". This year's event will be a little different, but equally awesome.

The Maine Jet Rally & Model Expo 2013 will be held Thursday Sep 05, 2013 to Sunday Sep 08, 2013 in Sanford, Maine.

This isn't just another fun fly. It is four full days of Radio Control action including a Jet Venue, Helicopter Venue, Micro/Mini Electric Flying Venue, Control Line Combat & Stunt Circles, and R/C Car Racing. Saturday features demonstrations, BBQ dinner, and a night show. The fun continues Sunday with more demos!

When's the last time you were at a fun fly that served steaks and fresh Maine lobster?

Last year over 20,000 spectators showed up (seriously)! Please join us to have some fun and draw some attention to our awesome hobby!

Yeah! I'm pretty excited with what I'm seeing! Sanford isn't too far from me! I think I'm going to check it out (as a spectator for this year! Stil new!)

There will be pros there from each discipline, which is great, but I cannot say for sure who is "locked in" and committed. Sorry! I'll repost if I hear a definitive list.

Love to go back home to visit and participate as well. Was just home in July....May have to go visit in Sept 2014

It doesn't matter what pros are going, this event was awesome last year. Definitely in for another twin lobster dinner Saturday night.
