Default E700 nose heavy

Hi! My E700 v1 is a little nose heavy, but I do not know how to make it less. My lipo's are all the way back. There is no more room to set it more back.

What do you guys do to get the CG right?

If you can not move something around to move the C of G to the rear I use some stick
on wheel weights on the tail fin...

I've used the following:
- Wheel weights
- Double up the vertical fin
- Metal rudder servo tray (not sold anymore but it was common Raptor 50 part)
- Additional Rudder control rod supports
- ESC moved to side frame

I may switch to an ESC with a HV BEC to reduce the nose weight in the future.

Sound like you are leaning towards the Kosmik or HJ Pro ESC.

I'll check my CoG but I recall it was fine. I did ESC on the side and Rx pack at the rear, primarily.

i just move as much as i can to the rear and add a little weight to the tail case. im also using a rx pack would be alot easier to get the cg without a rx

You could also put the stretch parts on. Making the tail longer would shift the c/g aft.

I checked my CG and it's good. My ESC is on the side, just in front of center point on frames. Reactor regulator is on the other side. 3S 1300 battery is at the rear of the frame.

I just added 2 control rod supports (I think this helps a lot) and that might be something.

I am having the same issue. It is ok without canopy on. I am using an esc with a built in bec. The castle talon 120. It is awesome. Very nice esc. Really only 3 ways around. Put your esc on the side frame and adjust for proper cg, add weights to the tail and stretch boom. I personally don't like adding dead weight to a heli. My heli currently weighs 11.1lb with bad cg and heavy packs.

My balance was dead on with just a slight battery position adjustment on the tray. My esc is up front and is an Edge 120hv .My motor is an Savox 5065 which is reasonably light and I am running 4000mah packs which is probably the biggest contributor to everything balancing.
