SR haters gotta hate..... But yeah, if I had to choose between the two, go mcpx. It's like a real-life sim. The mcpx can cost you some repair $$$, too, $60 board, $8 shaft etc, but it is more training for the money.

I like having both tho. The SR is a nice intermediate size, cheap compared to the 300x, more exciting to invert and do stuff with than the mcpx, and if I fly in a public space I gets tons more interest from people when flying the SR or 450 than the air-hoggy mcpx.
