Awesome.. Watch the fuel line , header tank, rubbing on the canopy. I heated up the nipple and bent it down, let cool. You can put the fuel tubing under the tail pushrods and shorten it quit a bit.

Pretty sure it will not work. The os 37 should be more than enough power!

How much room do you have with the 2100mah battery? I just ordered the 1450mah, but would of liked to use the 2100 if it fits. Also did you just attach your header tank to the main tank?

I ditch the mount and use 3M double side adhesive tape reinforced by the clear silicon along the four edges of the tank.

Yes, I can fit in the 2100mah on the top mount.

The receiver mounted sideway does not work as it is too big and I cannot fit in the canopy. I am caught by surprise after finishing all the nice wiring. I relocate the receiver to the bottom mount and now everything is ok.

I personally do not like using the mount as it may cause frame damage upon crashing (knock on wood), and it makes the heli look a lot cleaner.

Your canopy clip is on top, and it should be in the bottom. The canopy gives you no room!!! It's one of my gripes with this heli, but once you fly it, you quickly forgive this.

Thanks for pointing it out. I do not notice that.

But now I cannot fit in the canopy because the LiFe is too big. I think I may have to mount the canopy clip on top as a workaround.

I need to relocate the AR7100R rx back to where it is but with the stock esc plastic mount removed. The 2100mah rx pack is bottom mounted, leaving the top mount empty. Now, I can fit in the canopy with the clip at the bottom. I think that is the only layout that can fit 2100mah LiFe and AR7100RX.

I tried a similar size pack to yours, but the canopy wouldn't fit on mine. Went for a smaller pack in the end.

Cheers,
Simon

I just received my kit today and it looks awesome. I'm a huge fan of Bobby Watts designs, I'm currently building a Whiplash nitro and have been flying Whiplash E, Furry 55 and Furion 6, the designs are so simple and easy to work on and this one is very similar. I bought the combo with Gaui servos and Vbar, now I gotta get the Whip finished so I can build this one.
