Charging 2- 3S1P with the BalancePro HD 6S
Has anyone tried to charge 2, 3 cell packs on the BalancePro HD 6S charger from FMA? It occurred to me after looking at all the new chargers that claim that they could charge 2-3S or 3-2S packs, that the BalancePro HD has enough oomph to do the job too.
I'm assuming that the 2 packs are the exact same capacity. For example, 2 Thunder Power 2200mAh Extreme V2 packs. It seems to me that a custom wire job like the one shown in the diagram would make the two packs look like a 6S1P pack. The only question that remains for me is how would the charger handle packs that are at states of discharge? Is there a maximum/minimum allowed cell differential for the BalancePro HD before it will start a charge/balance cycle? |
