Speaking about winter project

Johnny remember a while ago I told you I was going to build a robocopter from scratch…I know crazy right. Well I’m about half way done, still need some more parts.
This is what I have done so far…and let me tell you, this thing is a bitch to put together without a manual.

LOL! Yeah had to have one. It would most likely be a shelf queen once it's done.

JC, how free does the tail rotor/gear spin on your robo? I got the tail together, but the gears seem to drag when I turn the tail prop.

Hey JC, I was looking over your Modified Black Angel, I noticed that the FC flybar is different, is this something new or did you do a mod on that as well?

Hey Hyd, thanks to Alex I’ve been watch the scratch and dent page on ehirobo site religiously and seen this 450 airwolf fuselage this morning. Not sure what parts are missing, but it’s only $30. I have no scratch right now or I might have bought it.

Might be gone before you read this, but I figured I would let you know about anyway.

No money Bro, things are tight for me these days or I would probably have bought it.

I just scored a RX2447V receiver at Miracle Mart for $31.77 before they when out of stock, so there goes my lunch money for the week.
http://www.miracle-mart.com/store/in...oducts_id=6716

I’ve been talking with and bouncing ideas around with DVD (awesome guy) in the Bee forum about converting the stock FP Honey Bee head to flybarless. I’ve completed the mechanical part, but needed a 3axis system to test the FBL head out. I seriously don’t have the money, but when I seen that MM had the RX2447V for only $31.77, I had to get it. Yeah I might go hungry at work this week, but I knew the receiver would go fast at that price so I think it was worth it. Because the RX2447V powers a motorized tail, so I’m thinking/hoping it will work out fine on the Bee. Whatcha think?

I was also thinking about this receiver cause i have a 4#(2.4ghz) that sits inside the box from last year when i bought it for $48 from the Hobbyking Walkera sale, never even tested it!. But instead i got a RX2616V (6CH 3axis) from M120D01 for 250 or 450 CP for 22 euro ($29.90 at that time).

RX2447V should be a good solution for Honey Bee FBL, it just supports brushed motors but i dont think will be a problem.

I also see many things but i stand far from the Buy button, i always say this month i will not buy anything, i think this month i will do it! Things here go from worse to worst everyday.

As for the fuse, that ehirobo section will be filled again with similar products.

Just to mention if anyone is interested, ehirobo sells this CopterX (CX-3X1000) Flybarless 3 Axis Gyro System for $29.99 http://www.ehirobo.com/shop/product_...ducts_id=11109

Great deal on the #4, Bro you should definitely convert the #4 to FBL. As far as I know, the V370D01 is a #4/Exceed Falcon 40. It just has the FBL head and 3axis RX2447V receiver.

Only thing I’m worried about is whether the 2447 can handle the amp draw of an Esky brush 370 super motor. I’m worried enough that I went ahead and added a V370D01 brush main motor to my order when I got the receiver. I’ll play it safe and try the V370D01 motor first, but I doubt it will have enough power for me. If not I’ll try the Esky 370sm with the fuse mod.

Also I’m not real happy with the small blade grips on the Walkera FP metal heads. The grip really doesn’t give you a lot of options when it comes to blades. I think I figured out away around that though. Xtreme came out awhile ago with a metal cnc blade grip for the Ufly. It allow you to use blades with thicker blade roots (mounting rings). I betting the Ufly blade grip will fit the V370D01 fbl center hub with no modding needed. If that’s the case, it would make a perfect metal fbl head for the Bee…bling bling…Baby!

Sorry to hear things are getting worst Alex. I don’t have the spare money I use to have to buy all the new goodies, but when I did, boy did I stock up. So if you need any parts for your 250s or 450s and I have what you need, please let me know and I’ll see if I can ship them to you.

Yeah they do a good job filling the scratch and dent section. Hopefully I will have the money when the right deal comes along.

I have been eye balling the 3X 1000 fbl unit. Maybe I will add it to my Christmas list. You never know, someone in my family might get it for me.

Alex have you see any reviews on the unit?
