Default Why ? oh why

As stated fixed everything up as best I could.

I'm at the field, plug Tx, pack, press IRNet programmer : this what I got......

IRNet Display
VR (x) FMA Inc,

press the buttons so many time, unpluged everything, re-pluged it 3 - 4 times

Then I got :

Searching for device,

for ever, never got the Co-Pilot on the screen.

un-pluged it many, many times. Did not fly the unit.

At home, in the house, plugged everything up, everything works

At least I didn't crash, hey.

I bet you 2 bucks the programmer needs to see at the router
I could have sworn the box was in front of the router (not always) at the field, oh well.

No bet, it does need to see the router . The range on a sunny day in the field is maybe 1.5-2 meters, no more than that, so you need to come close and get down to align the programmer with the router.

Nope 10 feet ain't gonna cut it..
Try being in line with the IRNet.... 3 feet or less away.
You should be able to make a connection...
That's not saying you'll like what you see on screen perhaps.

Because you give an impression that you're not trying to understand what it tells you.

Sorry, but opening new threads on similar subjects isn't a substitute for reading the documentation thoroughly (granted, it's not that great by any stretch of imagination), then following it step-by-step and asking questions when you get stuck.

Your "got stuck" steps seem to be random and indicate that you're jumping ahead of the understanding process, working on step 6 and getting stuck the following day on what should've been step 2, sort to speak.

Don't mean to offend, just suggest you go back to the beginning and restart the setup in a bit more orderly way.

No worries Sly, I might've come through a bit harsher than I meant. All I wanted to say I started getting dizzy jumping back and forth and answering questions that should've been clear 2 steps back... Suggest take it a bit slower (I know it's difficult when one wants to get up in the air), start at the beginning and don't fast forward leaving problems for later, we'll be here to help you out at any step you get stuck at

Went flying wenesday morning, during pre-flight visual noticed no movements on the aileron servo, so no flying. At home after inspection : servo poped. It must have given me his last breath the day before when I had trouble controlling the heli (!), just lucky it didn't die in flight. Waiting for a new one, hopefully monday.

I've back up the sensor on the boom a bit more, re-leveled the sensors. Took off or lost little white tags on wires replaced them with different coloured tape. Learning to navigate in the programmer, I know where everything is now, downloaded the diagram it helps to know where I'm going.

I may be slower than some, but I'll get it eventually.

Good job, Sly Looks line you're in control of the situation now. Any doubts, shoot a question. FYI the first CP2 took me 5 days to setup on B400, the last one on T600N was probably under 4 hours...

Received the servo early than I thought. Upon installation I re-did the whole swash set-up from scratch. Without the C.P. the heli flies wonderfully, with it, it tends to drift the left and it doesn't stay at the same altitude, it drops, I flew at 8 to 12 feet high approx. But haven't finished setting the numbers yet, only set the pitch & roll gains for now, so much you can do with 2 packs. And I kinda flew around a bit without it (CP). But its nice, when I get everything figured out, it'll be cool.
