Question about the tail pitch slider

I have heard there are a few issues with the tail pitch slider seperating in flight. Was there an up-grade released? are we using Align 500 size slider? is there a way to know if my kit is effected? I got this heli a few weeks ago and have been piecing it together wondering what I should do about this. I love the heli and so far build has gone great quality is top notch with the exception of the fuel line, pitch slider and fan but have great excitement to fly this one! Any help or suggestions would really be appreciated.

I believe it was an issue with the first batch..you may want to contact empirehobby and see if they can help ya find out..

In regards to pitch slider, there was no updated part. This is same slider they have been using on multiple other model helis w/same size tail shaft. Just a bunch were overtightened at factory,( probably over worked for release LOL) other then that Empire has been great with replacements. JC at Empire has been great. I received my replacement 3 days after mine broke. Fortunately no damage to my heli. Safe auto

About pitch slider: I assume the problem must be "gone" as we are not really hearing new cases of them breaking. Knock on wood

They have released a new tail pitch slider. Same design but stronger brass and less torque during assembly.

The tail pitch slider on the NX4 is the same as the one on the X5. You can see my X5 build thread here: https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=483960 I describe the steps I went through and the form needed to get the new slider.

Have fun with the NX4. Nice to see you trying out a new brand of heli.

Thanks for the information. Yeah I have been all about Compass but wanted to get into a nitro for longer flight times and this even offers it with an electric feeling gear train so I am super excited to have this in the hanger!
