You can do it with some transmitters (12X, for example) but you have to invoke some hidden functionality with special start-up key sequences which aren't documented or generally available. The Jeti, quite simply, is awesome.

I guess even when something is slightly wrong this Tx still makes it right

I love my Jeti

Default Throttle bounce-back

Adjusted out the ratcheting of the left gimbal and added a small amount of resistance. No bounce back at all on mine.

Also - I get 99% on the servo monitor screen for all inputs. Re-calibration doesn't change that. Doesn't bother me a bit. A little odd, but I don't care.

Can live with the bad stick until I get a replacement, so no big problem

Have sendt a mail to Esprit about the bounce-back, will let You how it turns out.
Still no answer from Esprit Model (sendt email 9 days ago...)

FYI

My uneven resistance in the lower half has disappeared after another hour in the sim.
So gone after 7h.

I had a similar issue with mine out of the box and it did seem that the wheel was not perfectly round. I added a lot of resistance to the throttle and worked it up and down for 30 seconds and it felt better but still not perfect. Over the next few hours while I played before it bricked I would every now and then work the throttle up and down for 30 seconds. After a few times it was completely sorted and now has very even resistance over the whole range.
There was definitely bounce back to start with as well (after removing the ratchet). The way I figure is that the wheel has a slight ramp and at bottom stick the ramp is highest and so pushes the travel back a little. Once well tightened this did not happen as the spring could not overcome the friction. Now that I have worked it there's no bounce back at any tension. Lovely gimbals, wish the DS-16 wasn't a brick though.

The jeti throttle stick has more throw then most US radios, as mentioned here:

I was just wondering for those with bounce back if you could avoid it by reducing the throw like mentioned in the same thread I just posted.

When I had my radio with the defective bounce-back throttle, nothing stopped it bouncing back.

Nothing includes:

increasing tension
decreasing tension
increasing travel
decreasing travel

Have mailed Jetimodel.cz. Quick answer, and they are checking out the trottle-stick issue

Have to give them some time, but will post when I know more

Still no response from Espritmodel.

Absolutely no throttle bounce-back on mine.
