Can we get a trade in for the old GPS1 for a GPS2 w/ or w/out laser?

I love the old set up! Never had one issue (read: crash) with is since I bought it. Saves to date: 3. Would love to have the extra confidence of the new GPS and laser, but can't justify the purchase while I have something that works so well.

Trade in I may consider. IMHO

Hi Guys

Sorry, the manual isn't ready yet, we're waiting for some help with photos. However, the only changes are:

1) The GPS2 is mounted flat facing up, with the logo on it top-forward.

2) With FW > 4.05, you can swing the compass a little easier. The horizontal (yaw) swing is the same, but for the second part, you can just tilt the heli on its side, belly towards you, and do another horizontal swing.

That's about it.

Will the new swing technique work with the old GPS?

It's when all your flying buddies laugh at you for standing in the field spinning around with your helicopter.
