Default Servo geo question?

Hello all,

I'm gonna use JR (z3650) servos for my T-Rex 500 and I'm having a hard time finding some servo arms with holes at the 16-16.5mm recommended by Align. I finally ordered some servo arms that have holes at 15mm and 17.5mm. Seems like most arms out there are at these lengths. If I hook up my links at the 17.5mm hole, will this work or is it too far out of line? Kinda funny because I just bought the servo arms and then started watching the geo101 video for the T-Rex setup. Any info would be great!

Thanks again,
pootman

Well I wouldn't use the 15mm location as you swash mixes will probably way to high. I am already running 85% on aileron and elevator. Try the 17.5 which will lower number a little but yes the geo will be a little more angled however as long as all 3 are consistent it will probably work ok.

Only other choice would be to go buy the JR wheels which will either allow you to drill a new hole or possible find one at 16. I don;t remember the part number...

Thanks Bob,

The servos I'm using are marketed for cars, so the arms are pretty short (12mm I think). It did come with a wheel arm, but I'll have to check if it'll go all the out to 16mm. Thanks again
