Anyone have a JR radio with the 3G/X
I'm looking for some help understanding the JR radio options. Anyone using this combo?

I just set up my 10X with the 3gx,with no surprises . . . Not sure what/if has changed, but the 3gx seemed pretty straightforward to me. What problem are you having? Most of the setup is the same as if the 3gx wasn't there . . .
Set swash to 120 degree CCPM. Wire as per 3gx manual. If any servo can't be exactly centered mechanically, get it right with subtrim on the radio. Set reverse/throw to get correct directions and movement of swash in DIR mode (basically, 3gx bypassed. You would end up the same if you didn't wire the 3gx at all at this point).) Run the 3gx setup as per the manual. - Tim |

I was wondering if I really needed to use the JR radio feature for setting up FBL where it disables the other channels for you. So when you're settuping up and doing the max throw for elevator, it disables the aileron so you don't confuse the fbl system.
I haven't setup anything yet, just going through the manuals and getting prepared. Been awhile since I setup a new heli so I'm rusty. |

I'm going to say no, since I a) have no such feature, so can't ha e used it snd b) mechanical setup is done in DIR mode when the 3gx is basically bypassed, so there isn't anything to confuse.
What 'feature', by name, are you referring to? - Tim |
