Yes, after some time (not sure how long) the ability for users to edit a post is removed by the forum software. If you PM a mod or admin they will be able to edit the post for you.

it looks like in the picture that there are two bearings and the thrush bearings that go into each blade holder. I tried that and I cannot get the final screw on

Just copped a Blade 450 3D yesterday. Havent flown the coupe YET - but I been practicing in Phoenix 3.0! Should I exchange for a class 500/600 instead? I dont wanna do 3D @ all, just wanna fly and get into scaling. Thoughts? THANKS for all this info, btw

Default Setting up my 9C

I'd like to give the Blade 450 a try but I'm sort of new to helis. I owned a CP RTF model but didn't learn anything about setting up the radio with it. I went this route cause I really don't have any one on one support here where I live.

The Blade support site says, "Any of these transmitters equipped with Spektrum DSM® technology will have the programming features you need to fly the Blade 450 3D." Well, Futaba is not on the list and I don't know if I could ever get all the right numbers in all the right places. I know these numbers don't translate the same from one radio to another.

What I like about this heli is all the support and parts are readily available. The last one I bought taught me a few things like hovering, left and right moves, slow forward flight and some pirouettes but I couldn't get parts for it and I never want to put myself in that position again. I'd just like to learn how to fly a heli but so far, getting started is a nightmare.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Invest in a good heli simulator. It will pay you back at least two fold in saved parts expenses. That's to say nothing of the heartache of each crash that could have been avoided if you'd used sim, first. Simulators would eliminate the crashes, but they sure reduce them dramatically. I've heard of very few pilots who get disallusioned over the heli sport if they first used a sim.
