Hi,
some pics of my freshly built 550e.
Mods to start with are kde tail upgrade, quick uk tail clamp, quick uk guideless tail control, align ali tail control arm, 600 canopy supports, 700e landing tubes & new 550e canopy.
Just waiting on my dx8 & rx & then shes flying

If you didn't order the DX8 from Horizon, you could be waiting a long time. Rather than supply the dealers with pre-order customers, Horizon have held most of the stock for themselves until the next production is released, and this is said to be late November. I'm looking at getting the Hitec Aurora 9 now...

Nope. Only difference between the two that ive noticed is the noise. 600 sounds cooler with the air chomping

Trex 550E and its smaller brother 450 pro! 550 is still under construction! Canopy came as a backup for the original orange-yellow(only 6 GPB = $11 USD)!

At 3:11 in your video, your brass spacers in the servos are backward. They are supposed to insert from under the servo not the top. The *Flare* of the brass insert gives the servo a bit more of a foundation to rest on
