Hello all, I joined this forum so i would have people to talk to who understand why i like to fly my heli =)
i started with the msr about a year ago and kinda got discouraged with it mainly because i had trouble operating it and not knowing much about it i put it on the shelf for almost a year. i took it up to the local hobbyshop in early spring and they set me right with it and i managed to fly it a bit outside till i killed it. i wanted something that would fly outside better so i bought the 120 sr which is better but still has wind issues. im getting better with it and having a blast. a few aluminum parts on the way.. plastic just doesnt last.
i find the 120 easier to fly than the msr despite what others say, perhaps its just that its bigger and easier to see, it is defiantly alot tougher on crashes. it may be an expensive hobby but i have fun with it and my wife approves since it keeps me from boredom and drinking. i figure once i get comfy flying these i will then step up to the collective pitch. i would like to ask your alls opinion on the Blade sr which i realise is locked into the controller it comes with as to whether its worth purchasing to get a feel for the collective pitch flying without spending alot up front on something i might destroy.
anyhow ill leave it at that and will be talkin at ya soon
Steve

If you think it's expensive now, you ain't seen nothing yet. I'd skip the SR if I was you and get an mcpx. I have an SR and I have it bound to my DX6i. Lets just say I wouldn't consider the SR to be one of my favorites.

Default thanx

thanx for the headsup on the SR, thats pretty much what i read alot of. guess it must be a mistake on their part to have made it. i will look into the mcpx when im ready for it. right now im just having fun getting used to the 120 sr and i need to rebuild my msr so it flies properly.
