looks good to me, but i have an AR7200BX and SAT on mine so they are out side the frame on both sides, one set points fore and aft and one set points skyward and groundward

I'd consider that placement good enough, especially with the plastic frame. To play it safe I'd do a range check with the model on its side, bottom facing away from you.

Flew my Protos with rx and antennae in same position when I had a full size rx with no problems . Then switched to smaller s-bus and stock it under boom box.

I strap mine along the boom supports. The only concern I'd have about putting it on the gear is that on a bad crash the gear can get ripped off, and you don't want it to take out the antenna with it.

Just use caution with tips, should be directed away from CF,probably hard to tell in this pick, also notice the tubing ,needed to isolate antennae from Carbon fiber, never strap directly to CF

That is just so true.
I had to get mine away from the frame. With 2mm distance there was a spark between the frame and the receiver wires, and of course, lots of servo twitching.
