You can't go wrong with the Futaba BLS252 on cyclic, BLS251 or 9256 on the tail (a 760us servo is a must on any Heli) and 9650 or 9257 on throttle.

I agree with Matt. You definately can't go wrong with his set up. Another possibility is JR DS8717's on cyclic and a JR 8900G on your tail. Personally, through some research, I've seen that the BLS251 is a little better on your tail than a JR8900G, but theres very little difference. I also agree with Matt about the throttle servo choices. Both are excellent.

If your not flying 3D, you do not need expensive high power servos. Align 610 or 620 servos will be fine on the cyclic, 650 for the tail, and 510 on the throttle.

I have to agree with others opinion. If your on a budget the Align servos would be hard to beat and probably work almost as good as the more expensive ones.

I decided my N5 was going to be my main machine, so went BLS 253 on cyclic and BLS 251 on the tail - both are really nice, or is it just the heli that's nice?

Both.

I just upgraded from Align 610s to BLS253s and the difference was astounding. The Futaba servos center so much better and just have an overall smoother feel in flight. BLS FTW!

I am the first man in line when it comes to getting something good for cheap and I will say I have always ran Align servos in my N5. Due to the slop that they started to generate I got a chance to try a set of Futaba BLS252 and must say they were the best servos I have ever flown. Centering is unbelievable, soooo smooth and very precise. Didnt think I would be able to tell a difference but I sure as hell could. My vote BLS 252 or 253.
