I can't compare ESCs.

Bing.com trick:
go to Bing.com
search for iPod
click on bing.com cashback ebay link
now search for castle 110 (or anything else) in ebay
use "buy it now" and when you pay w/ paypal, you get 8% cash back to your paypal account.

I have to find the right ESC for my T-Rex 700 too...

I saw that the diffrent between the CC ICE HV 80 to 160 is big.
It's not about the 80gramm diffrent but the size...

Does a CC ICE HV 160 fit on the 700?

I mean the 160 ist 100mm length x 52mm x 30mm high...
the 80 is just 66mm x 33mm x 23mm...

Thats a big diffrent....

Nobody knows when the new CC ICE HV125 arrive which alan tested on his Combo?

And to all happy CC ESC users...
When i want to check the Loggs do i have to pull out all the time the cable from the receiver or it's separately a other plug?

Thanks

I'm with ZZR, the ICE125 will fit perfectly.....Just need a little patience for it's release.

On the other hand, Where there's a will, There's a way.

Yes, you need to pull the plug put of the rx. Much easier to make an extension from the rx for much easier access. I've never had it even slightly back out of the extension.

Here's where I have it plugged into the extension -- bottom right

Better with the extension than unplugging from the Rx each time. I use the extension system with all three of my ICE controllers and never had a problem, its the way to go.

Thanks for your infos...

@Shef

Whats the small green thing on top of the CC ESC in picture number one?
And what kind of BEC you guys need for the 700E?

First i wanted also the CC BEC Pro and the CC BEC for my Rex 600 but there are no lights which shows the Lipo Level...(like by the original Align 3A or 6A BEC)
And this is very practically...

Unlike the Align BEC which need a separate 2S or 3S lipo, the CC BEC PRO take the juice directly from the main battery. So no need for any lipo level indicator.

@Speedy - what small green thing? I see the remote Rx on the outside of the frame, that's all. Is that what you're referring to?

Oh, and I use the WR Super BEC -- costs a little more (ok, a lot more) than the CC, but never heard of one failing (yet). I used a parallel connector with Deans connectors to plug the BEC and the ESC into the Main Pack. That way, I can easily disconnect the two for maintenance.

It's tucked right under my V-Bar Main Unit on the back of my 600.

@mugen71
Aha i didn't know that it takes the juice directly.
You do this with a split cable? (Fotos)
because for example i will have 4mm gold contacts on all lipos and somewhere you have to plug the CC BEC Pro...

@Shef
Thanks, yes i see know that this must be your remote Rx...

That's why we're all here!! Two years ago, I couldn't tell you the difference between an ESC and a JGB (Japanese Government Bond). Now I'm just trying to give back.

Speedy, I would not recommend the CC BEC range. Some have failed (including my BEC PRO) and when they do, they send full pack voltage through all the electronics, destroying them. The WR BEC's seem much more reliable, or use a 2s lipo and Fromeco Sahara regulator, the safest bet IMHO.

Im suprised no one has mentioned a Scorpion ESC as a recommendation (80A-120A should suffice). Bad experiences or what?
