Maiden and 3 flights went well...upgrade to pro...not well

I did my maiden flight and then three more flights on my 600se Mini V w/ Express 5.0. All went well, rock solid. I decided to upgrade to 5.1 Pro in order to have a few more options for flight characteristics. Now she has a bad vibe / oscillation. I have tried about every set of values in the gains possible (not every possible combo but you know what I mean). No matter the change it has the same problem.

I have checked and rechecked my build. Everything looks good as far as I can tell. I re-setup the Vbar from scratch, twice. No luck. On my last flight after landing while spooling down she jumped around violently and tipped over. Only damage was one Da-Vinci link.

Any ideas?

if you post your vbar file that could help people rule out or pinpoint if it is a vbar setting causing the problem.

Have you balanced your mainblades and checked the main and spindle shaft?

I will check the main and spindle when I get home and post my log. She did tip on her last flight but prior to that no hard landings or anything. I don't see how the spindle or shaft could have been bent prior to the tip. My problems began when I upgraded to pro.

EDIT: While I was thinking about it I did change to DSMX sats when I upgraded to Pro. In Express I was using the Hires sats option which binded in DSM2 not DSMX. That is the only thing I can think of that I did differently. Anyone think this could be the issue?

1550, 1650 & 1750 head speed. Edge 693 blades.

When I upgraded to 5.1 on my logo 400 my disc would bob up and down at low head speeds. It didn't do that with vbar 4.0. Had to up the HS up a little. I know this is no help but I would post in the vbar section. Might have to mess with the cyclic gain.

Seeing as how it flew fine before 5.1 It's hard to believe it is mechanical. And headspeed shouldn't be a problem. I run mine at 1050, 1500, 1850 with no bobbles. Posting your vbar file should hopefully help pinpoint your problem.

Also as long as your dsmx sats bind in dsm2 and the correct sat option in vbar is checked that shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for the info bud. I will post it up later today.

Update: After speaking with Readyheli, they beleive the problem may be that I used a Mac for setup. They have heard of some setup issues when using a Mac. I am going to bring it in to work and give it a go on a PC.

Also for what it's worth, I remember someone posting that there was a problem with the newest vbar software 5.1.8 I think it is and using dsmx sat option. Supposed to be fixed in 5.2. Anyways, try binding in 22ms mode in vbar just to rule that out. I could be wrong but I am pretty sure I read that on here.

They said that a lot of people have been successful using a Mac but have had a few calls with similar issues and most, not all, had setup with a Mac.

At this point I guess it wouldn't hurt to try setup on a PC to rule out whether it is mac related.

I just sat down to go through the setup again on a PC and noticed the swash is bent!!! The tip over last night must have damaged the swash. Dammit. I guess I will have to wait until I get the new swash to give it another go.
