If it makes you feel any better, I'm struggling like you are too. I think we both have one of the same problems, trying to fly in too small of a space with too many things in the way. Just keep trying, you'll get there.

Hi Guys, I am flying a Walkera 4#, looks very similar to your heli from what I can see. It is fixed pitched 4 channel with a separate tail motor, gyro etc. I am also using the orange Efly training gear except I am not using anything on the tail. I have about 5 to 8 hours flying time since I started and am just beginning to get 20 to 30 seconds of air time before I have to set it down. I feel confident that I will get more time as soon as the wind dies down in the area.
My one suggestion to you is to make sure that the heli's Cg is good with the training gear on. Keep checking the flybar paddles after every tip over or event that forces the main blades to fold. My last thing is try to fly on concrete and keep it close to the ground until you improve your control. IMHO getting lots of air (3~5 ft) is not a good thing while you are figuring out the basic controls and the anticipation you need to have in order to control the bird.
Anyway, those are my observations, I am just a beginner like you so just trying to let you know what has worked for me.
Keep flying!

Rudy

Default good job guys

i trying more to fly in my house....so it is confined.....so i can learrn a tight hover...but yea your right...i hear a lot of people have the shakes after they crash...ive learn if you check paddles and put you main blades,( if the are a little tight)set them parallel with you tail boom before you fire it up again.no shakes...good tips guy...
the walkera have very floppy blade spin....i like then a little tight so you dont get that uncontrolable shake at take off..
good luck "KEEP THE SKID SIDE DOWN"
