Lost Pro data viewer capability with update

I no longer have my Pro viewer functionality after the new installer download, and using the full feature activation dropdown in the viewer only throws an error telling to check the license key and try again. The values are copy/pasted directly from the license key notification I got from SK when I purchased it, so there is no error.

Anybody else having this issue?

This happens sometimes after an update/re-install.

If you are unable to roll back using your OS, just send an email to Skookum with your registration details and number and ask them to reset it from their end so that you can re-register.

Yeah, I have been lucky I guess through the previous updates and have never lost it. I'm dreading how long it will take to get any response considering how much their email traffic is going to increase after the new firmware release.

I will give it a shot Georgi. I typically don't remove the old software before doing new installer updates, and have never had any issues. This time I removed all of the SK software from my PC before installing the new. Maybe I should have stuck with the old way

Ok, I uninstalled and re installed and now all of the stick scaling issues and errors when I connect have gone, so It seems like we are good there. The only thing wacky is it changed my RTH setting in the GPS to position hold even after loading my old setup file?? My second GPS choice was the same as beofre

This was easy enough the correct, but could catch someone off guard if they didn't realize this. The Pro license error is still there, so Ill get an email off to Skookum about it. What do they need.......my old license key?

You can try removing the registry line that tells the pro viewer it's unregistered. That's what I did last night and it worked.

Regedit command in search will bring up the registry, then you navigate to the right line

I wouldn't have any idea what to look for specifically, so I should probably leave well enough alone for fear of wrecking something.

I'm your typical PC end user, but have no skills when it comes into working on the things behind the scenes that make it all work unless I have some sort of step by step directions.

This is the only thing I can find if I dig down into the SK Data Viewer, but I'm not sure what to do with it

I don't have a pro viewer but can check the path on my laptop. Give me a rew min to go look.

ooops should of checked your attachement. It looks like your in the right place. I don't see a reg line there for being registered or not other than it possibly needing to be flagged as registered. I just looked for a non pro version to install but didn't see one in a quick search to look at it on my end.

Just realized it installs with the software. That will teach me not to look for new icons on my screen. lol 35 bucks usd for pro. I think that may be another winter purchase once my wife goes back to work. Hell if I smashed my heli right now I would be down until she goes back. Gotta love life. On the bright side my 500 is like a rocket with the wind gusts here when I turn down wind . Always nice to see it screaming by.

I have had the same issue and have emailed Skookum. I have not heard back and was wondering if the answer was out here...??

Art emailed me a few days ago with a new code. Got mine back last night!
