Dead serious, Bob! I got tired of the stupid tail "stick" snapping when I landed, so I ghetto-engineered a replacement that wouldn't snap. About 15 twistie ties, a coat hanger, and some foam from a lcd monitor box later - and walla! I never said it was pretty, but it worked!

Nothing really creative here just sort of perty. Used CaliGraphics vinyl on canopy and it turned out pretty clean although I did have quite a miserable time of it getting them applied straight without bubbles.

Here's my latest REBUILD. I'm taking pictures more these days because I want some way to remember what they used to look like.

Will post some more of the other bird (STK Stunt Copter) when it's back together!

Hey bud! Can you post a close up of both sides with canopy off? I'm doing my wiring tonight and I am trying to collect as many examples as I can!

I think that's good. Just to clarify, the two front servos are routed both in the same loom? Is the servo on the other (right if you're looking at the tail) side, the wire coming out from the "empty" servo mounting position below the left servo? Then going together through the loom towards the back? Thanks!

The front two servos are in the same loom down the left side. I brought both wires out of the front of the heli. I think you could go out of that hole but it's harder to make sharp bends with the loom. It will expand when bent sharply and then the wires show up. Hope this helps you some. Mike

Nice SE! What kind of paddles are those? Are they painted shoguns/mx 400? Never seen black before and the dont look like the Gorilla paddles.

@ Awamori : Yes, they are pallets of zoom 400 because they are heavier.
I am beginer and that calms the t-rex.

The equivalent version with the pallets of the t-rex (even mass)

@ ormandj : yes, with this landing skid of 150 gr., it be much more table... lol...
And i like a lot this look...

Default Post your Trex Vids here!

OK there is a Helifreak "video" forum but I see many Trex guys like to post links to vids in topics that eventually get burried in old posts.

I think it would be good if they got posted here so others can find and see them easily.

So I am making this a STICKY so all can post links to Trex vids. PLEASE no off topic vids just keep them to Trex videos please.

Please post STATS! This is a must... Others will want to know what Trex model this is, electronics, motor, batts, etc! Also some text on date, pilot, etc as my examples below show.

Here are my contributions thus far.

Ian Crane flying a Stock Trex. 430L, HS65 servos, 401 gyro and 8650, Align 35 X ESC, 325 pro woods, Align 2100 packs. July 2006.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...48154083&hl=en

Ian Crane flying a Stock SE Feb 26th 2006 (the day the OCHC club went BUST at the BIG A and we all left for Carson). I was also doing my FIRST flying vids and learning how to film helis..... Same config above EXCEPT he is running a HS 50 on the tail!!!
http://video.helifreak.com/?subpath=...e=ianhd720.wmv

Ian Crane flying a MODDED Trex in Feb 2005 (shows how well the Trex flew in 2005)... This is before PRO Woods and these were 335 plastic covered blades... WOW.... Ian has gotten better now and I think you will see that comparing all the vids... The NEUR motor rocked back then but this also was before the 430L was out too. I forget where I got this vid so credits to the original person should he see this.
http://video.helifreak.com/?subpath=...me=Ian2005.wmv

Me Finless flying a TrexSE stock. Same setup as above except I am running a Airtronics 94761 tail servo. This was in Jan 2006. I have gotten a LITTLE better since this vid. Finding someone to video PROPERLY is a pain or I would show a more recent vid of myself... Bottom line I SUCK compared to my friend Ian.
http://video.helifreak.com/?subpath=...ame=finfly.wmv

Me finless shooting autos with a Trex450 trying to hit a CAR mat! Also some Trex600 inverted auto trying tohit a car mat
http://video.helifreak.com/?subpath=...me=autofun.wmv

OK so POST your Trex vids NOT hosted by Helifreak here. This way as a STICKY they are always easy to find by others......

Expect more from me

Bob
