Default My Fusion is dead, long live my Titan X50E

Well, my beloved Fusion 50 has finally run out of parts so what better excuse do you need in order to buy an X50? Build has just finished (excellent build by the way) and now it's just a waiting game for the weather before I go and tear this bird a new backside!!!!! Can't wait.

I love the simple design of this bird so far. I suspect she will fly as well as she builds.

Nice. I hope you really enjoy your new machine. I always get excited when I browse the the boards and see a new post in this sub forum. As you will discover this part of cyber space is very quiet.

So did you upgrade the bearing blocks or still using the plastic ones. Tell us more about the gear you're using.

I look forward to hearing about your maiden flight and what your opinion is of the X50e.

Such a shame about MA and parts now being very hard to find
All the best.

When I ordered the kit I went right ahead and ordered the metal mounts- it just seemed like a sensible thing to do. As for kit, the electronics from my Fusion have had a direct transplant so:

HeliJive ESC
Quantum 4135 motor (I think it's this one)
9188/9180 Outrage servos
Full size Vbar
Emcotec safety power switch
Radix 623 mains and radix tails

Still raining so still waiting......

So any news?? I hope to maiden mine this Easter long week end

Oh the shame Oh the shame I have many many many good excuses though

EDIT: finally got her in the air. Impressed with how quiet and smooth the Titan is. My first time using Vbar.

All I did was slow fwd flight piros and a few pitch pumps. The tail was kicking out on the pitch pumps but as I said it's

my first Vbar so I'll work it out. Just recharging now and hope to get a 2nd flight/hover in. I'm using Gens Ace 4000mah

which in hindsight are wee bit too big IMO.Running head speeds of 1750 1950 and 2200
