WOW! I hate to hear that! I was extremely lucky! Blades, new canopy, batteries, all survived. I really was surprised the gear broke. I didn't think it was that bad, but it was far away quick was part of the problem, hard to judge everything.

The gear seems to take the brunt of the impact energy....better that i guess than the rest of the airframe.

Yeah, it did. It just didn't look like it hit that hard. I could actually get the frames from Readyheli though.

I do think the SHAPE is a really tough heli I've had 3 hard ones on mine & I have yet to change side frames, blade grips or main gear.

That seems to be the case. I'm going to use this to re-run some wiring and move some things around. I had some wire tension on the connectors with certain batteries in it anyway, which probably contributed to my accident, so I want to change that. I love this heli, so I want to keep it flying for sure.

Well got my new main grip thrust bearings from Boca today. FYI, if you have a 2010 (I believe) or older 9.0, they changed the main grips to the 800 conversion grips, so the thrust bearings and spindle shaft is different. Anyway, the Shape is ready to be airborne again!

Already posted this pic elsewhere, but here it is newly repaired with it's new friend.....

For whatever reason, I'm not really digging this canopy anymore, so I swapped it for the new one that I acquired. Maybe after my TDR is finished, I'll get my blank painted.

I think Freakware doesnt actually stock the parts...it appears that its "on an order base only". I've been lucky with them and received without delay the parts i've needed.........

What are you looking to purchase?

What Cuda said. Most of my parts didn't show to be in stock, but that had them in another warehouse, and shipped within a day. On a side note, according to what someone @Freakware told me, they are the manufacturer for Shape, not just the distributor. What do you need?

Oh, and better pic.....
