Default Power Down... Or Not?

Ive used a few FBL systems now. Some systems it is "key" or "crucial" to power down after making any gain changes rotor tail ect before flying. So my ? is if I change the gains in say N using the DP must I power down with the DP connected? At all?

Or can I just land, plug in DP, make changes, unplug DP, & fly off into the sunset?

I make changes then make sure I go back to the main screen of the Data Pod, unplug then fly without re-booting the FBL. Works fine for me.

I just make changes and fly. Remember that the Spartan with DataPod supports live tuning *while in flight*, so by Angelos' standards landing to make changes is pretty straightforward :-D

Thanks for that. I didnt see this discussed anywhere. Ive been rebooting when I change gains but plug & go for expo, style, tail rotation ect. That outta speed the fine tuning process.
