Easy matty, take a deep breath.

Carey, does this mean that it will have a modular type power train so we can have it as an electric but have a second power system to convert to a nitro perhaps at the field?

More details...I NEED MORE DETAILS !! Close ups, flying pics, flying reports, VIDEO VIDEO VIDEO and last but most important of all, a link to a pre-order list. Now if I can just find a YS 50 somewhere my life will be complete.

Well it looks great, but I see one thing I don't like right now.

I really don't care for the direct swash linkages.
I see a whole lot of interaction issues with that setup IMO and the servos are going to be more easily damaged.

I guess we shall see when a few people get to test fly one.

I really like the belt drive and the modular design.

I understand what your are suggesting, but I don't know the answer. Stay tuned as Tim releases more information.

Tim Schoonard stated that the street price of the machine will be around $600, and it should be mid summer at the earliest before kits are ready to organize.
Target weight is 7 lbs with powerplant and canopy.
I've taken detailed photos, but I left my laptop and camera at the field while I stayed in a hotel, sorry guys.. pics will be later.
The machine has a primary belt drive, and a belt driven tail, and overall the kit assembly looks like a jeweller designed it. Very neat, clean and logical.

That looks strange.... Why did you make the CG that low? Take a look at the 3DNT/3DMP head, you might be able to make a much lower heli that way.

I believe the first Furies were 50 size. A bit on the heavy side though for a 50.

It is going to be a bitch to try to route the wiring nicely. (Unlike the mess in the pictures)

I'm sure the final production version will be much different. It could be lighter if they got rid of the flybar cage and used smaller blade grips. I wonder what the canopy will look like?

There is goign to be a new head block, but with the power we are running these days the Extreme grips and a HD carrier are definitely needed.

This new machine will be shown at Toledo in Glow 50, 91 and Electric Versions.
