Default Huge shims with tail blades?

My 570 had 2 large shims packaged in a little zip lock bag inside the bigger bag with the tail blades. The manual doesn't seem to mention them, and they are too big for anything having to do with the tail, so does anyone know what they're for? They're similar in size to the ones used in the "transmission" area.

No, the main blade shims were with the main blades. These are a little smaller than those and not nearly as thick, they're most comparable to the ones for the main gears.

All I can think of is that it was a packaging error, but just wanting to make sure I didn't miss anything.

same here probably just extra shims for the head after a few flights you will need them after the head breaks in some.

You'd feel some play in it if you're missing something. Don't doubt yourself, you more than likely put it together right, you should see the bag of left over...... errr spare parts I've got from my build

Yea, it went together nicely. Very simple for the most part, but when they have a system like they do of individually marked bags with just the parts you need and then you have some left over it makes you wonder. Haha I was pretty sure from the time I saw the shims that they had nothing to do with the tail since they were way bigger than anything on there.

Oh well, into the spare parts they go!

Thanks!
