Default new canopy for hk servos?

Hihi,

I put hkscm9 servos on my cpv2 and have found the ele servo rubbing against the canopy. Sanding down the servo hasnt helped.

Is there a cheap canopy that will help? I vaguely recall reading the trex 450 canopy was wider and longer?

Thanks

Probably be better cutting the canopy away maybe? I don't think I'd be happy sanding servos down unless you mean the servo arm?

You could probably get a trex canopy to fit but it may take some chopping and changing to make it happen. I can't say I ever tried fitting anything other than the stock canopy to my belt so I wouldn't know. I did change the servos and had no probs with any arms hitting the canopy. I guess your new ones are slightly taller from where the mounting tabs are than the stock ones.

Yeah the HK servos I got stick out quite a bit. Cut a window in the canopy, and no more binding, finally was able to fly a full battery.
