Default Pot Settings for ESC and OEM Gyro

So I finally put my SR back together once I got my tail motor, but now I need the default (or suggested) pot settings for both the 2-in-1 ESC and the original Gyro.

Every heli (even two SR's) will operate slightly differently. And even if they operated exactly the same, the odds of you putting the gain pots in the exact same location and having everything work just fine are pretty slim. Your best bet is to just follow through a basic setup. I'm not positive how to do it without the gyro gain plugged in, but probably turn the dial on gyro all the way down to zero. From there, have your gain on the 2-in-1 set where it would be stock (like in the pic) and get it just off the ground. If tail spins, put it down right away noting the direction of spin. If nose goes left, it means you need to increase the gain on the esc. If it goes right, decrease. Once you make the change on the esc, power down the heli and Tx and then power it up again to test the adjustment you made. Repeat the procedure until you can hover it without the heli spinning. It WILL wag back and forth with about 20-30 degrees deflection most of the time without the gyro but it should stay in basically the same area without the nose coming around to face you once it's setup right. When you have that, turn the gyro gain up a bit and that should lock it down.

Thank you for this. I set up the ESC and the gyro better than it was before (that or I'm just better at it now than I was a month ago when I first got the SR). The tail still wags but nowhere near as much as it used to. Thank you!
