I did not purchase from Readyheli. I purchased from RC Flight Store in B.C. Canada as I live in Ontario Canada.

Yes Martin, I e-mailed Ken today along with the video and Ken does have a great store! I only fly Mikado helicopters so he gets all my business along with a few friends of mine.
Very happy we have a Canadian distributor for Mikado since I like to keep my money in Canada

My LHS fastlad UK would change that gear without even waiting for response from mikado, common guys help the man out. I would just buy another gear and when they replace you have a spare, if they dont they will have to deal with US!

Well, I know that no one wants to eat shipping costs or gear cost. I definatly do not want to eat these costs as a just paid aprox 2700 for this brand new kit.
Hope to get this resolved soon as my build is on hold at the moment.

Well, I did get a reply from Mikado. Apparently "the main gear itself can't wobble due to it's production"
Funny because I have a warped gear in my hand! I have tested on a flat surface and determined that it is out of wack by at least 1mm or more
I'm not too happy right now and have pretty much lost the ambition to get this build complete.
I dissassembled everything and put it back in the box so I don't have to look at it all winter.
Not sure what I'm going to do at this point.

Your dealer should support you on this, he should swop it around, nice doesnt cut it, customer support does, As for mikados statement, well not good marketing, thats gonna cost them a couple of heli's, btw, next time dont play frisbee with the gear and your dog, thats why its bent, you got caught out by mikado, there is no production in the world that can guarantee a straight gear, thats absolute b...sh...t. !

Took it all apart over a 22 dollar gear, really?

$22.00 is not worth not completing a heli that is worth thousands of dollars. I've pm'd you a link to the available gear. If it's principle alone I understand and I'll buy it for you, if I had a spare I would have allready sent you one myself.

The heli didn't even have boom or servos on it yet. I'll put an order in close to spring. It's too cold here now anyway.

Mine was the same way, ordered two spares, they're both straight.

Interesting, mine looks just like the one in video, order a second one and it's exactly the same also, think I'm going to run it see how it goes.

Mine is also not straight, strange though as apparently mik reckons its impossible, in contrast my raptor e 720 gear as well as spare is perfectly straight and also molded so sorry thumbs down on this one mik

That's pretty bad attitude Mikado.
Remember when I had the bad belt on 600SE?
They didn't want to change that either but instead offered a free Pro update on my next V-Bar purchase.

Good deal there, to save $45 I have to spend $300.
C'mon Mikado we expect better.
Good luck with the machine J, have to get some flyin' in together next season.

I don't disagree, but like said I have had gears not straight and never affected flight or wear.

Do you have a L700 Gimpy?
