Default My new, to me Trekker

I am about to finish my Trekker.
I got the airframe and went with the following (all new) parts:

Savox SC-1267SG HV servos on cyclic
Savox SB-2272MG HV tail servo
Align 850MX 490kv motor
Castle Edge 160HV esc
3GX
I have Edge 813īs, Sab 790īs and Edge 753 blades.

I also have a Brain FBL controller, but want to try the heli with the 3GX first and then change to see/feel the difference.
In total I have 14x 4500-5300 packs (Zippys 45C, Gens 30C and Align 60C) so that makes 7 pairs for 7 flights straight. The Aligns are very powerful. I tried them on my 700 Pro.

I placed the ESC on the rear of the heli and painted the landing gear orange.

Pics coming tomorrow.
Any suggestions about settings and doīs and dontīs are always welcome.

Why dun u go with the brain directly? Maybe the 3gx had its bugs worked out but I would not risk that heli with that.

+1
Never tried the brain but it has to be better than the 3GX, tried the 3GX a few times but I never felt locked in to me so I wouldn't trust it on my big birds. Having said that others swear by it so each to their own.

Vbar all the way for big birds, IMO it's the best out there.

Looking good. Im using 3gx also. But in my 600 I'm having very bad backdrift! So far so good with the 800s 3gx. But yes my ikon 450 flys perfect. Wish I was made of money some times!
