Hi Gentlemen,

I currently have a Futaba 6J transmitter and would like to know if I can use a Governer (on ESC or FBL unit) on a heli with this transmitter, it is only 6 channels. or do I need a 7 channel transmitter?

To use the Gov on an ESC, no... The throttle port goes to the ESC.

To use Gov on a FBL unit you will need to connect via sBus to the sBus its the only way to get the trhottle channel to the FBL and the ESC would feed off the FBL.

Thank you. So this means I need to use the Futaba S-bus S-FHSS 8 channel receiver as it is the only S-bus receiver that is compatible with Futaba 6J.
