It happens now and then, don't know why. I deleted the duplicate posts but you can also do that yourself after posting: Edit post-delete......

If you use a 2.4 GHz system (like DX6 or DX7) you cannot use 2.4 GHZ camera downlinks - you would have to use either 900 Mhz or 5.8 Ghz equipment. If using 72 radio Mhz you can use 2.4.

There are many suppliers of 2.4 Ghz like:

Hello Botag..

Try this page RC-EXPERT.COM.. they have a wireles camara about 1 inch square, with reciever (2.4 Ghz) Color video and sound. works great, uses a 9volt batery and also 110V with transformer. I use it in my Trex 450.. about 300' range and for only US$.80.00

Hello Rusty..

I have used my 2.4 Ghz camera with my DX6, and no problems... I imagine the radio will use a free channel to lock on..

Mario, the weight of posts around the traps suggest that there is a real risk of problems using 2.4Ghz for both R/C and D/L. You might have been lucky so far....

I had one of those on my 450 for a little while. the video quality is what I would call just decent. Of course its not really meant for high definition/fast action videos its made to be a security camera. I did manage to get a few pretty good videos with it though and its really fun to mess around with, especially for a small heli. like the trex450.

If its great/high end video quality you are looking for I wouldnt recommend it. If you are looking for something to just capture some video with and have a little fun with it, I think its great. Its really easy to set up and the 450 hauls it around with no problems at all. Best of all its inexpensive.

Default 2.4 ghz video and 2.4 ghz R/C

I posed these questions to Xtreme Power Systems of their 2.4 ghz conversion systems.

We have no idea what the limitation is for 2.4Ghz video with our
product. We have done limited tests with it, and it works with a 1 watt
transmitter, if it is separated by at least 8 inches of space from the
receiver.

1 watt !!! XPS Receiver in back and 1 watt Tx for video up front I guess !
