Since I have a DS-14 coming, how have everyone's antenna solutions been working?

No issues at all so long as you follow the standard 2.4Ghz guidelines. Make sure the antennas are at 90 degrees to each other, spaced apart a bit is also good and the yellow ends are clear of CF or metal.

I have been using heatshrink that is slightly larger ID than the antenna when shrunk down and 10 to 15mm long. I then just use 3m double side tape to hold the heat shrink to the frame and pass the antenna through it so the yellow sticks out in clean air.

I ended up getting some of the yellow Dubro? antenna tubes...

these caps...

and these clamps...

to do this...

Though, after seeing Mikado's new antenna widgets, I may have to draw something up and get a friend to 3d print them.

Hi guys,
I just want to know if this antenna mounting is acceptable? I still have to make a mount/clamp for the horizontal antenna but before I make a more permanent fixture, just wanted to see if y'all see any issues?
Regards....

The only problem I can see is that they might be shadowed by the whole heli if you're hovering nose in, up high. But they are pretty far away so maybe the RF can go around the side of the heli?

Thanks Mark, Proto.

I've kept status quo and mounted another boom clamp, offset, to secure the horizontal antenna.

I'm getting antenna strength of no less than 9 on both 1&2 on all orientations, so will go with this and monitor.

Thanks again.
