Default Blade have done it again smaller than the mcpx

Blade has came out with a nano cp smaller than the mcpx more like the size of the msr and msrx. Here is a video

Doesn't look like its brushless, but still looks alot more capable than a stock mcpx.

This got scooped a few weeks ago:

https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=447323

I'm on the fence about this one. I've got no desire for another MCPX. I few mine yesterday and was reminded how much the tail on that thing sucks.

Also, as far as I can tell, this video gives the first look at the "Powder" canopy for the 500x. Judging from the looks of it, the Powder canopy will be nothing short of a cloaking device, making the blue 450X canopy seem high-vis!

I'm glad that this is coming out, it gives me a reason to order more 160mah batts from HK now for my mSRX and this Nano CP. I just hope that we dont run into the motor burnout issues the mSRX has. I wonder if they are sticking with the mCPX motor or using the mSRX one. The only problem I see with it is it has the same length tail as the stock mSRX tail so that means I'll hae to fab another long tail to avoid blowout issues on this one.

Hell, and I was about to convert my second msrx to brushless. Maybe I'll do so and sell it to make room on the shelf for this one.

Or, hmmmmm, maybe use the hp03s and xp-3a on the nano. Oh the possiblities

It would be great if they used the mcpx board and shrunk everything else lol

Brushless made easy. I think that thing looks like its got more power to weight ratio stock

Something that small I don't think would need a bl setup...

Some answers:

It's a new motor, very strong.

While tail blowouts are still possible, they're MUCH harder to achieve than with the mCPX. You can get into the collective a LOT more with the Nano than the m.

First shipments are already on the way. It will ship in September.

Which motor or both? And will it last any longer?
