Default Plank sugestions

Ok a friend gave me all the left over part from his first plane he flew it twice second time resulted in a nose plant lol so I got a OS MAX 46FX and some futaba servos and a futaba remote what kit plane should I get dont want to spend a fortune just get going

The landing gear looks like it's from a piper cub like this one. http://www.amain.com/product_info.ph...J-3-Cub-40-ARF

The radio looks like an old cheap one. You could use your heli radio in a plane.

keep the engine, maybe servos, and toss everything else. Any kit you get will come with landing gear, etc...

You're going to need more than 2 servos. Decent ones can be had for under $15.


This is pretty cheap and simple.

If you have a spare RX lying around use it, or just get a cheap 4ch one, and some new servos, and use your heli radio. If you have something made in the last several years, chances are it's got heli and plank support so you should be good to go.

OR.....

Go to the LHS, buy a bunch of balsa and start gluing wood together, use duct tape for a wing covering. McGyver style.

Yes I have a turnigy 9XR I knew that usimg that was a waste of my time lol I dont even know if you can even get crystals any more lol

Lol I had a plane given to me that I flewmfor,a while on am ...it was one you pulled the antena out of the rx and then screwed it in the top ...had little dip switches in the back and round pots for mixing I think it was a 6 or 9 channel cant remember
