Cyclic servo jittering
Hi guys,
Just had a test run on the bench after enabling the Governor on my SK-540 (Trex 500 ESP). I had to reduce the governor gain a fair bit in order to eliminate a tail wag, but it seems to perform nicely now. However, during the test run I noticed that all three cyclic servos have a slight jitter (no jitter on the tail servo). Obviously this could be vibration related, but the heli appears to run rather smooth. Just in case, I tried 4 different mounting pads, but the jitter remains the same. I also reduced some of the gain values dramatically in order to check if it makes any difference, but no luck so far. I also increased the dead band up to 5 hoping that it makes any difference, but no luck either. The jitter isn't huge and it may not be noticeable during flight, but I rather eliminate it, if possible. Did anybody experience the same issue? If so, please let me know how you fixed it. Cheers! |

Could the installation of a phase sensor (Hobbywing) cause "twitching" in the cyclic servos?
I still haven't been able to fix this issue. Don't think it has anything to do with the gyro's gain settings. I am suspecting a mechanical or electromagnetic issue. Turning the governor on and off makes no difference. |
