Default 450L Dominator Brownout

I crashed yesterday, and I'm trying to figure out why. Stock Trex 450L Dominator 6s with ikon flybarless and a spektrum satellite. ESC and servos are stock, full battery.

I took off and flipped to IU1 then IU2 (85% flat throttle curve, 0-25-50-75-100 linear pitch curve), proceeded to do a tick toc, and when the heli went inverted, it just lost all power and fell to the ground. It seemed much like I was in normal mode, but I wasn't. I flew one successful flight before that one. This was also my 60th or 70th flight with no previous issues.

I'm wondering if I had a brownout!!?? Has anyone browned out the stock esc/bec?

it is possible
just depends on how much your servos pulled at that time

Its unlikely though. People have been measuring the BEC voltage on the Dominator using the Castle Edge BEC... (its only 5A peak)

There haven't been any overdraws.
The stock BEC is 6A peak.

I've been absolutely abusing those servos at 6.0 volts, 100% roll and flip rates, 65 expo, 3400 rpm, hard 3D popping... for months now... 16 packs per day.

The BEC in the 45A ESC isn't the same old garbage they used to have.
When I bought my 450L, I also bought a Polaris BEC... but with Align revamping their lineup.. I decided to give it a chance.

That ESC/BEC is awesome non governed.

Did you ever get to the bottom of this? It sounds exactly what happened to me. I had done about 45 flights with no problem, it was also my 2nd flight of the day, also full battery, also in IU2 and felt like I was in normal.

I had a motor bullet pull out my 450L had cold solder joints so I redid them all. Cause one crash with loss of power.
