Radikal G20 coming soon
http://www.centuryheli.com/
This is the first photo I have seen on the company website. Must be getting close. I wonder if this becomes the new platform for the next 50 size nitro also? Last edited by t2o; 10-03-2009 at 08:43 AM.. |

hope so. it's slightly larger than a classic 50 size and can accomodate larger blades so it would work nicely with the new 55/56/60 size engines coming out.

Don't mean to sound like I'm knocking the Nitros, they're great, but I hope they expand the Swift line. Put out 500 and 700 versions.

For the type of flying I do this will be perfect in Gasser form. I want one bad and will sell even my kids to get one. If any body wants a Bind-in-Fly Pred let me know

Will gassers like this one do any kind of 3D stuff at all? I don't do hardcore stuff yet, but it would be cool to have a gasser that could do tic-tocs and decent rolls and such. If this one can do that kind of stuff, I'll be all over one! Cheers...

I think we are about to find out. I know gassers can do 3D at the hands of expert tuners and pilots. I have seen them go ballistic... but can Average Joe take one out of the box and go fly it like a Raven? I doubt it, but I hope so.

i beleive i'll take one please.thirty minute flights and almost free fuel,AWESOME.
the specs says there is optional gearing available, so with this being the case , if the head speed could be bumped to 2100 2200 i think with all it's tourqe and a set of 620 wide chord blades it should pop as good as most 50 nitro's.And up here in northern minn with the cold air in the winter a 50 fly's like a 90 does in the summer so this g20 should be simular in it's power gains with the cold dense air.It should be alot easier to start in the cold also. i have three ravens and if it fly's as good as they do i will be a very happy camper. |

3D Gassers
Yes gassers will 3D. My P-Gasser was a rocking machine. I am waiting on my 50 gasser. Im sure it will rock even better. There are some vids of my P-gasser from huntsville event Im sure you will want to try a gasser after seeing those as welll as other gasser vids.

I actually just ordered my G20 from bobby at rre models, after a dozen or so nitros and about that many eletric's i figure time to try a gasser. good luck selling the kids, with this resession could be tough. you'll just have to do like me , to heck with the budjit and ship it to your work,or you could do like my buddy zaaaguy and keep it at a buddies house(my house BTW)to avoid the devorce proceedings as for me i have so many heli's the wife can never tell when another one shows up.It just blends in with the fleet. and after all i did sell 4 heli's this summer , i deserve a new one |

Ahhh, that used to work with my wife as well but now she take photos, and has an inventory. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!
I will get a RadKal somehow, someway, eventually. For now I am just checking each day for some video and first flight impressions. |

Those engines suck power out of the cdi ignition pack you'll be lucky to get 20 minutes out of it before losing an engine due to dead battery ,kinda takes the fun out of a gas heli when you have to charge the ignition every 20 minutes, sold my zenoah 26 ei for this very reason, so i'll be scrappin the idea of this heli. What a waste to bad they never thought of that when putting an engine in it.
