Default Removable boom / vert fin LED's?

So I have my canopy and main blades ready to go for my logo 500. I'm trying to figure out a way to do a removable light strips for my boom and vert fin. Any ideas? I'm down with using a couple of zip ties.

use a couple strips of 3M clear package tape wrap around the boom / fin works fine with me. cut it narrow enough to place in between your leds. lighter and does not show.

Maarset - How did you get the canopy to light up like that? From the pictue, the light seems to be diffused amazinly well but still bright! If this is old news then I'm way behind.

Thanks!
Dan

It's just led strips that are adhesive backing. Very bright. Maybe too bright.

OK, thanks! From the picutre, it almost appeared as though the LED's were inside a transparent type of canopy.

That might be too bright for night flying, but will be great for dusk. Use a 2s lipo with the LED's for night flying, the lighting is just right. 3s works great so you can see them in the day.

Chris

Here is my Logo 400 doing my first night flight.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3psx...e_gdata_player

It had similar LED setup on the canopy. Didn’t seem to bright. The Logo 500 canopy above will be brighter but I plan on flying it further out.
I might attach a small brushed esc onto the lights to adjust the brightness if needed.
