Yep just saw that today ... lol.

Getting them as well.

I should add you might want to order tail blades too -- they stretch just like the 450x -- fyi

What do you mean by 'stretch'? Do they actually get longer?

Yep and break... no kidding... I have the 450x and noticed it only after about 20 flights with that. Granted its stronger and until you go full 100% once you get the CF blaed.. (being that we are supposed to be at 70% due to the woodys).... the plastic actually stretches.

Like this --

MIND YOU THIS IS THE 450x's doing but the 300 is not far behind it in the scale to power ratio.

Something to watch for..

Hey Branmuffin, looks great. I take it you painted those CF blades?

I ordered that canopy, Blade CF blades & stabilizers today, I really like the look of it that way, thanks for posting those pics up.

Default 300X / AR7200BX relocated

Here's a few pictures of my 300X sporting the "ClubHeli.com" $14 CF blades, Astroid Designs frame stiffeners, and the AR7200BX relocated to the top block. I tidy my wires with dental floss rather than zip ties. It's lighter, cheaper, and looks nicer. The tail servo wire was coiled rather than bundled, just for appearance. Just barely visible in the last picture is the Anderson Powerpole connector, I couldn't get rid of that dreadful EC3 quickly enough.

Smile 29th Flight and Going Strong

So the weather was overcast once I got home from work but wanted to fly both 300 X's and especially the 1st 300 X that I installed the BLADE 245mm CF Main Blades on.

This was the second flight with the CF Blades and I'm just Truly Impressed with the way the Heli Handles now. 300 X #2 will get a set of CF Main Blades too but I'm waiting on the 253mm Edge CF Main Blades to come in the mail...just testing the waters on those as I have a feeling that the Pitch Response will be through the roof and beyond my current skill level.

The CF Blades are also lighter than the woodies which nicely translates into less strain on the stock Lipo. My circuit flights have Improved ten-fold with these CF Blades and the 300 X!

My stock motor had well over 100 flights and I noticed I started getting a wag I could not shake. The shaft on the motor was worn bad and you could wiggle the can like a loose tooth. Went to the lhs and they did not have any replacements so I gave this motor a try. Fit perfect on the mount and did not rub the elevator link. Had a hobbywing esc lying around and hooked it all up. I just installed the vbar too so the initial flights were basic setup and preference adjustments. Tomorrow I'm going to my local field and I'll really open her up then! I can already tell that it has plenty of power!

Is that the motor off of the either the 400 or 450x?
Do you need a different ESC, or would the stock one on the 300x work?

I've been getting alot of questions about this motor so to keep this thread from being side tracked, I'll create another.

How is the flight envelope with those blades? Still have a stable hover? Tracks well in FFF?

Default Evening flight lights

These are surface mount LEDs which I stripped off of a long string of them. They were a bear to solder wires onto. I use the other 4 pin battery plug to power them.
