Default 7008sb antenna

So one of my antenna's ripped off. Can I call up Futaba and have them send me antenna's? For a cost of course. They just pop on and off right? Thanks

Aloft Hobbies sells replacement antennas. I think they are made by FrSky. If there was no damage to the existing antenna you should be able to open the Rx case and put it back on.

Here is one I just pulled off of the net http://www.hawk-rc.com/index.php?rou...product_id=224

Here's a repair video from youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pltXeEvRDts

Here's a link describing using the FrSky antenna as a cheaper replacement https://hpisavagex46.wordpress.com/2...aba-receivers/

Ronlund sells the Hobbico replacement parts (These are Futaba OEM).

http://www.ronlund.com/rcheli-prod/HSP82707.html

The antennas are identical for any of the FASST receivers. These simply snap on to the mount.

Alternatively, you can contact Hobby Services http://www.hobbyservices.com/contact.html and order direct from them. Hobby Services is the official Futaba repair/service center in North America.

These are crimped connectors. The quality of the antenna depends on the crimp. I personally would not buy aftermarket antennas. Get the Futaba from Ron's or elsewhere. There are some that have heatshrink on the crimp. I assume that is to hide how bad the crimp is !

A bad crimp can easily add 10 dB additional loss. That's like flying in range test mode.

These look to be the same connector as the FrSky type, has anyone checked this?
