Look up at my pic of my Neon Orange "goblin" mcpx , got the canopy from the ebay guy. Just with they were extended to fit ALL the way over the extended solid boom.
You've used the Nano canopy on the mCPx right?

Anyone tried the Proheli one? Is is durable?

-they make them in yellow and white
-you have to build it yourself using a manual, decals seem like they have to applied
-the tail is a separate piece

No. He makes them for the MCPX. At least thats what he told me haha. You see i didnt go straight to eBay for it , i found it on eBay.. made a thread about the cool canopies i found... then someone told me that the guy is on here, HF and his SN is composite... so i PM'ed him and went from there. It took about 5 weeks for him to get it to me -_- ridiculous haha but thats what i get for not going straight to eBay to get it.

Im sure the ProHeli is much more durable than the one i have. My orange one from eBay is like the thickness if a few sheets of paper.

BUT the fact you have to put it together , put the decals on it & the tail is seperate makes the $40 even more out of line. screw that haha

Couple pix of mine, I got it a cpl weeks ago, first heli , broke landing gear on first few flights even with no real hard crashes. added a few alum pieces and was waitin on landing gear for a while, bandaids a few times but mostly just sim'd.

Landing gear finally in from Airtime which are awesome i must say. Did the extended solid boom, MH tail piece n fin, Xtreme canopy i painted (stickers are a pain to get lined up perfect on each side). white blades n tail rotor soon to come and solid CF main shaft, MH swash etc. Wire pulled off my rear motor in process of tail swap so now that everything else is here to fly again i gotta wait for a motor now.

I like the "green" theme, Snakes! I have been doing the same thing, green main and tail blades, green canopy... Saw the green skids and almost ordered them. Now I saw in another thread there's a green MAIN GEAR offered by one company!

Do you know how much weight difference your all aluminum head adds to the bird? I like how it looks but afraid of mine getting too heavy.

No idea about the weight, I do not fly 3D(yet), but in normal sport flying it has no effect.
