Default YS 91 ST rear bearing direction

I am replacing my rear bearing on my YS 91 ST engine. The new bearing has a shield on one side and open on the other. Should the shield be facing the front of the engine or the rear??? I believe the shield side should be facing the front of the engine to allow the lubrication from the fuel to get to the opened side which faces the rear... There has been instructions on other sites but it says the shield side should be facing to the rear???

Thanks

Face to the front
That's where your fuel/lube is coming from.
