Default new installed, but TH doesnt work now

Hey guys, I upgraded my servos and went through the beast and got everything centered, etc. But now when I hit throttle hold, it shows on my DX8 however the swash doesn't lower like it did before. Now even thought I can see hold on the radio...if I move the throttle, it still acts like its in hold. But before when I hit throttle hold, the servos / swash would adjust a little and when I flipped out of throttle hold the swash and servos would adjust again.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

What do you have your pitch curve set to while in Throttle Hold? Just like any of your other flight modes, you can set your parameters in TH. You may have reset all of those somehow.

I think i "may" have figured it out. Here's what I did just a few minutes ago. When i installed the servos, I went to step G on the beast only and left it at that. However there are several steps concerning the servo. Step G, J,K and I think L......when I went through those entirely, then I noticed that the servos reacted as they should and they hold the center/positive and negative that I set up. So now I gotta test it out....wish me luck.

Thank you VERY VERY much for such a quick response and assistance.

Yep. Any time you change things around, you should go all the way through the setup process again. It's cheap insurance against forgetting just 1 little parameter, which could cause a crash & rebuild.

not sure, I "think" I remember something in the beast that said you need to keep something linear when setting up and then adjusting the normal curve AFTER you finish that process.....I am looking through it now.

That is correct....linear throttle and pitch curves, and no d/r during setup; you add all of that stuff once you are done; page 6 in the AR7200BX manual.

skidpad, you are right on the money and I was just reading that page under "Preparing the transmitter for flybarless Operation" page 6

So I guess I will make it linear, remove D/R and re-bind ...then test it out and if all is good, THEN make final adjustments. correct?

Or I may have to set the transmitter correct, click through the beast (but make no changes) THEN rebind?

"Preparing the transmitter for flybarless Operation" page 6 in beastx manul

"do not adjust the pitch curve at this time, during setup the pitch curve must be linear".

So I will take these steps and see what happens.
