Default Eagle tree Hall sensor

I'm a little confused with the set-up of the parameters for the hall sensor for headspeed on the Eagle Tree V3. Can someone please help me out with setting it up? Thanks

I have one working on my 450. What problem are you having? Where do you have the magnet installed?

I haven't installed it. I wasn't sure if I should stick the magnet in the autorotation gear / main gear / or on the shaft in the aluminum collar. I was hoping for some guidance for the best solution and need help setting up the parameters

On my 450, the collar which holds the mainshaft on the top has a second extra hole where I put the magnet. I then put heatshrink over that, and cinched it up. It's staying with no issues.

The sensor is the difficult part. You need to find a place where it can hover around the rotating magnet. I tried a few places on my 600, but eventually gave up and got the brushless sensor as it's much easier to install.

I'd focus on that first, and see if you can find a place that you like and will be stable for a few hundred flights. The gap is key. Let me know if photos of the 450 would be of help.

Once you get that, we can go over the software setup. It's pretty trivial, especially given that you'll most likely have to put it somewhere on the main shaft, and thus the ratio will be 1:1.
