BTW , saw your maiden flight of the Intreped and was wondering if you have had a chance to fly it more ?. Did you get the vibration problems worked out ?
Can't wait to get my Bergen Magnum 44 here and going. Hope Chris gets on the ball and has it comming soon.

Yeah, I've flown the heli a bunch of times. The maiden was back in late June and the heli accompanied me to the IRCHA Jamboree in August. I think I got 6 flights in there and it went upside down several times while it was there.
Here's a pic of it at IRCHA. Not sure if I was landing or taking off.

I've also flown it a few times since I got back from Muncie. Don't know if I've got the vibes sorted or not. I haven't had the time to fly it since my last "tweaking" 'cuz work has been crazy.

Having said that, I'm all loaded up for a trip to the field tomorrow and the Bergen's comin' with me.. Hopefully I can get someone to tach for me so I can rule out any resonance problems...

That's a great looking bird ! Too bad I did not get to meet you at IRCHA , my wife an I spent 4 fun filled days there. That was the first time for me at that event. Maybe next year we can meet.
I read some of you post about airbrushing and plan to give it a try on my 44 canopy. I will probable make a mess .....Oh well.....

Well, I'll be there once again in August. Make sure you pop by the Helifreak "compound" and meet everyone. If I'm not there, I'll probably be with the Bergen guys in/near their tent again.

FWIW vibe problems are gone. With some help from Chris Bergen, she's flying beautifully now and my confidence and comfort level are climbing with each flight... Hopefully, someone got video of the last trip to the desert with it... Giant loops, rolls, hard carving turns and some of the best Cuban-8's I've ever done - all in some pretty good wind... Gotta love a bird that goes, "Wind? What wind?"

Don't know. Ended up shipping it back to Bergen.. He did some kind of magic (I think he sacrificed a Vario or an AirStar International heli) and it came back a few weeks later vibe free.. I don't even think he knows for sure what it was...

Quick update in post 1. Vids are back online with updated intros and rendered in higher resolution. I also fixed the sound so all the volumes are normalized.
