Default SK540 governer furstration, help !!!

******************************************** PROBLEM SOLVED ************************************************

Hello boys !
Hear is my setup : Gaui X2, YGE 30, SK 540, hs5065ciclic, DS 95i, original Scorpion, Hyperion phase TP 850 65c.
I try ewery posible way to get governer to work, but no luck soo far, werry furstrating...
I setup ewerything like wizart say but I get no success....
I have set ESC to mode plane fast, in the start I get a litle kick, but I can live with this
The rpm s nicely locked too 2500, first desired speed (i get bog too 2400 at 14 deg of pich ).....
Then I swich to idel 1 desired speed 3200, get to that area speed on head 3200, but when I put full pich, I get bog down too 2400, so I gess governer not locked, then I swich to idel 2, rpms doo not change a bit, but they should too 4000....
The diferent colores on rpm windows in software showind that idel is swich too higest rpms, but stays on 3200 and bog too 2400.......
What em I missing hear.?????
Help !!!!
Regards

#1 don't use plane mode in the ESC

use a heli mode.

#2 do you have the proper gear ratio set?

and #3 are you sure with your gearing you have the proper headroom for the gov to maintain what you want?

Hello !
Same situation with heli mode, ewen worst ( lawsy reactions).

Gear ratio has enough headroom ( works pretty much fine with YGE governer )

Gear ratio in SW is set 120/15*6/2...like wisart say...

If I decreash rpms on 1500 governer holds too, buy if i goo ower 2400 I get a lots of boging....

Heli can only hover, nothing more....

Well the case wass ewen worst, there was only 1 level of rpms and not governated at all....

What i em doing wrong ??? Is there maybe governer bug in SK 540 software ????

Otherwise great device i have tuned pretty much with YGE internal governer, and I like it werry much soo far....Only this stupid governer problems....

P.S.My hyperion senzor is good I have 2 of them and governer do not work with either.... When I pluge it too E - meter works perfect....

there is no bug I have it working perfectly on 2 different helis.
1 electric 1 nitro.

are you sure you even have the gov engaged?

there is a checkmark that says manage collective or something like that right next to the RPMs if that is not checked it's not turned on.
also checking that will enable the gain for the gov.

=] "collective management" is optional, this has no effect on the gov function other than to enhance it.

tail 2 disengages the gov, this is for nitro users.......

Hey,

It's really strange that your deep bog-out is depending on the "collective management" checkbox.
What this checkbox does is to overwrite the collective input receiving from the Tx with a smaller/smoother one IF the rpm drops too low.

It seems that your power components (gear ratio, motor, ESC, battery) are not able to deliver the performance you are intending to fly with your collective stick-input on your Tx.

Anyway... You're happy so we are

"disable with tail bank 2" is explained by georgi.
"override" is the amount of rpm value that is added when bog out appears. So if you set your bank to 3000rpm and override to 100 as soon as your rpm starts to drop the SK tells the ESC to hold 3100rpm. You should not go below 100 for the override.

If you use the professional data logger you can see this rpm change in the log - I'm not sure if this is a feature of the SK540 though. My SK720 does it

My governor is still 150 rpm off...its so weird...
It flies great though...I just set it to 2350 to get 2200.
This log also has a funny event in the end where my telemetry alarm shuts down my DX8 in the end for a split second...but thats another story
But check the rpm...nice and steady on 2200.
And i am totally fine with the vibration level now..
Maybe someone can have a look in the setup file too.
I have no idea what could be wrong.
The math works, the Hyperion sends the signal to the SK720 and the TM1000, I even checked it with an optical sensor.
Its bang on 2200 but the gov is set to 2350/2400
