Llama v4 Stopped Working

I have used my Llama v4 many times but put it away about 6 months or so ago. I took it out the other day to fly it, charged up the batteries and after I turned on the radio and plugged in the battery on the bird it was not acting normal. The controls on the radio did not seem to have any effect and the motor would rev up at random. The servos would just twitch slightly as if spasming. I tried new batteries in the radio even though the level indicator was all the way up to green but it had no effect. One interesting thing is that if I turn the radio off with the heli battery connected it stops twitching and 'dies'.

I have no idea what is wrong. Anyone have any ideas?
