Default Flighttimes

Hey Guys,
Before I sell my 600SE, which gives me very nice flight times, I would like to have an idea about what's possible with the 700 flightime wise. I'm flying mild 3d but don't use the "smack" headspeeds. Anybody who has an idea for 1600 HS and 5000 packs ?
/Kurt

It'll be quite lethargic at that headspeed compared to the 600se at the same...
Flight time will also be not as good, probably best to stick with the se if low head speed tickles your pickle.

Well, if its any help...I'm not a hard smack pilot at this point...I'm flying at 2050 (which I'm certain is WAY more than I need right now) and getting somewhere between 4:30 and 5 minutes. I'd think knocking a couple hundred rpm off of that you'd be able to get 6 or more minutes but I haven't tried it.

Thanks, Maybe 1600 is to low but I'm pretty shure 1800 will be enough for nice flying, or not ? I'll wait unitl the figures are becoming more clear when more 700's are airborne...

most of this flight was at 1850rpm, he switches to 2050 @ 2:05

So as you can see the heli is already very capable at 1850 rpm, but because of the 713mm blades it still drains the batteries pretty quickly (given his flying style)

I believe he also states he isn't pushing the packs yet which I read to assume he isn't flying a full pack yet.

yeah it was the first flight so to make sure he didnt drain the packs to deep he kept it short. It was meant to show what the heli is capable of at 1850rpm, but I would not expect him to get 5 minutes of flying. Will see.

I was the cameraman by the way

This gives a really good idea about the capabilities at 1850 rpm. Not bad at all !!! Makes it even harder to make up my mind...
